Official Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 cases appear online before launch

There isn’t much left to imagine in the wake of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 leaks appearing online. Now, official Samsung cases are going online and showing up early before the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 launch in Unpacked.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 look promising, as they take many cues from the previous generation of foldable devices and seem to change them up quite a bit, making devices that should be completely better.

Of course, most phones don’t perform well without a cover, no matter how advanced their specs may be. It also goes without saying that the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip are two phones that are difficult to manufacture due to their “bending” nature. Samsung knows this and has an official set of Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 cases.

Appearing on a third-party site a few days before Unpacked 2022, Samsung appears to be introducing two new cases — as well as some reimagined cases — for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, each of which cater to the device’s unique design (via SamMobile).

First, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets a stylish “Flap Leather Cover” that comes in three colors to match the phone itself. This case provides the Z Flip 4 hinge with a bit of protection, and the leather strap covers it when fully closed.

Additionally, Samsung has brought back the latest generation of the phone’s “Silicone Cover with Strap,” which has a strap that extends from the top of the case through a loop at the bottom, allowing the fabric to move and tighten when the Flip 4 is closed. This case comes in black with a green strap, while the white version has an orange strap. These belt bags come at a price of 36.16 euros while the leather bags look for 72.84 euros.

For the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Samsung has a number of slim cases for the big foldable device ready to go. First, Samsung offers a stand-up case that allows you to prop the Z Fold 4 up while the phone is fully unlocked, eliminating the need to adjust the screens so they can lie flat on the surface. This ‘Slim Standing Cover’ appears to come in nice gold and dark black, to match the flip cover itself.

Also found on the retailer’s website, Samsung is looking to offer a belt bag similar to the Fold 4 as well. Again, these cases are in black with green and white with orange, following the same design as on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 cases.

Instead of a moving bar, these cases have an ergonomic looking strap that extends from the bottom to the top, allowing for easy handling when displays are fully extended. While the Galaxy Z Flip 3 had this case before, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 had never had a silicone strap case like this one, which is really exciting. Again, these belt bags look great and seem to fetch around €43.47, which is the same as the permanent holsters.

These prices are from a third party site and Samsung will likely offer them at a discount with actual foldable devices when the time comes. For now, here’s a good look at what Samsung plans to offer as well as this generation’s Galaxy Z lineup of devices.
