When will my phone get the Android 13 update

With one of the oldest bumps in recent memory, will Android 13 speed up your device?

Android 13 may not be quite a huge update like Android 12. However, it should bring a much-needed wave of stability and improvement to the latest elements of last year with behind-the-scenes changes for app developers. Whether you’ve got your arms wide open or you’re preparing for impact, we’re working on getting answers about when your phone or tablet will get Android 13.

ANDROIDPOLICE TODAY’S VIDEO

As of August 1, we’re still waiting for Google to distribute Android 13 firmware images to Pixel phones, as well as to distribute public images and update the Android Open Source Project repository. Other Android manufacturers will be responsible for adapting the new software to their devices, which will take at least two months. We will update this article with the target dates as announced and links to relevant information.

In this initial draft of the list, we focus on brands and devices generally available in North America.

It might be time for an update

As we update this list, we may adjust our scope to include OEMs in other regions and their hardware wallets for those regions. For now, we’re simply waiting for Google to fire up this weapon by resetting still images for supported Pixel devices. If you don’t see your device in our list, don’t worry; We should learn a lot about the manufacturer’s roadmaps once Android 13 is released. If you own an old phone or know you’re not getting the Android 13 update, it might be time to upgrade to one of the best Android phones.
