Samsung inadvertently confirms color and storage options for upcoming foldable devices

Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in 71 different configurations

Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event is approaching, and there’s been no shortage of leaks and rumors about devices expected to debut at the event. The stars of the show will be the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 along with the Galaxy Watch 5, and we already have a great sense of what to expect from those. While we wait for everything to be official, we’re getting some early confirmation of the color options, thanks to one of Samsung’s online tools.

Eagle-eyed Redditors note that Assurant’s UK insurance website Samsung Care+ apparently confirms all color and storage options for the Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 (via GSMArena). The website says that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in Blue, Pura Purple, Graphite and Rose Gold colors. In addition, a detailed customization tool will allow you to select the phone’s frame in black, silver, and gold, while green, navy, red, yellow, and white color options will be available for the back panels. You can even choose a mismatched set. The phone will be available in 128 and 256 GB storage configurations. As SamMobile notes, this results in a whopping 71 unique configurations that customers can choose from.

Assurant also revealed the configuration options available for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The larger, this phone will be sold in beige, grey, green, and phantom black, with 256 or 512GB storage. The potential for detailed customization options is still unknown.

For the Galaxy Watch 5, the website suggests that both the 40 and 45mm options will be available in Graphite, Silver, Gold, and Blue. There is also a unique Golf version of the wearable, which will only be available in Graphite. Customers will be able to choose between Bluetooth and LTE connectivity for all models. The Watch 5 Pro has been upgraded from aluminum to a titanium body and will have one size and two color options – 45mm in titanium or black.

Samsung disclosed its hardware information in this way seems to have been an accident that kept online for several hours before it was corrected, and the last time we checked, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 options were deleted, but the Galaxy Watch 5 options are still up. Given the leaks and official confirmation now, is there a risk that the appeal of the official Unpacked event will wane? Hopefully there are still some surprises left to share next week.
