Digimon Survive Career Guide | Tech Raptor

An important part of any strategy game is the ability to expand your roster and fill it with all kinds of units to take part in the battle, and this is no different from Digimon Survival The new visual role-playing/strategy game from Bandai Namco. In this Digimon Survival Recruitment guide, we’ll cover what you need to know about finding Digimon and recruiting them to join your team.

Digimon Survival Recruitment – When can I start hiring Digimon?

start Digimon Survival You will experience the beginning of the story. Here you’ll experience maintenance characters as they make their way into the digital world, and a few meet Digimon Partners. After filtering the introduction to the story and entering the first part of the game, you will be able to Free Battle for the first time. Free Battle will unlock at the same time you start exploring the school building.

Free Battle is not only where you can go to fight Digimon and earn items and experience, but this is also when players are able to recruit Digimon for the first time. Once you highlight Free Bat. On the world map you will be able to see at the bottom of the screen what type of Digimon will appear.

As you progress through the story, be sure to revisit the previous locations because the existing Digimon may change or grow.

Digimon Survival Recruitment – How do I hire a Digimon?

Once you get into a fight instead of choosing to attack or move, you can instead select the option to speak.

Instead of choosing to talk to your party members, which is a useful tactic to boost your abilities in battle, you can instead choose to talk to enemy Digimon. This will start a conversation with your Digimon where you need to put them in a good mood to try to get them to join your side.

From here Digimon will start asking you a variety of questions, if you play the Persona series, you will likely become familiar with these types of conversations. There will be a total of three different questions that Digimon will ask you and that you need to answer in a way that you think Digimon would like to hear. If you get exactly what your Digimon wants to hear, the bar will increase by 2 phases, if you answer fairly correctly, you will fill the bar with only one space.

A bar will appear above the Digimon during your answer, if you answer the way the Digimon would like, the bar will start filling up, once it is above the middle line, you will then be able to ask the Digimon something. This is when you can order an item, or ask a Digimon to be part of your team. If you can’t get past the midfield with an enemy Digimon, they’ll have a base boost against you, so be careful! Even if you manage to completely fill the friendship bar with a Digimon while he’s chatting, keep in mind that there’s still a chance that after you ask a Digimon to join you, they might not.

You will be able to see the percentage of chance that Digimon will be accepted for recruitment on the selection screen between hiring or ordering items. If the chance of being hired is particularly low, it may be worth ordering an item. The stronger a Digimon compared to your current party, the lower the chance of recruitment, if you really want a Digimon but are unable to recruit it at this time, you can level up and try again later.
