Rookie Day 2 Presidents Training Camp Notes

The Kansas City Chiefs returned to the Western Missouri State University practice field in Saint Joseph, Missouri Sunday morning, and conducted the second session of their 2022 team camp.

As was the case on Saturday, Sunday’s practice was restricted to rookies, quarterbacks and a number of sophomores. The last of those practices will take place on Monday morning, before the rest of the team steps in on Monday afternoon. The first full practice will take place on Wednesday morning.

Earlier, we published a list of participants, along with some injury notes.

Arrowhead Pride Editor-in-chief Pete Sweeney was on site, making remarks that were posted on Twitter. Let’s start with the first question about any practice in Kansas City: What did Patrick Mahomes do?

But Mahomes and Fortson weren’t the only ones moving the watchers’ heads. For the second day in a row, the 2021 Fifth Round pick (who spent his rookie season on the Chiefs coaching squad) Do some plays.

The final session for juniors and intermediates will take place on Monday morning. The veterans will then report back to camp on Monday afternoon — all in preparation for the first full team practice at boot camp on Wednesday.
