The GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update will launch on July 26th, and with it there are some big mods coming to the online world that will greatly improve the players experience. After collecting a lot of feedback about the current state of GTA Online from those on the ground, Rockstar tackled the most prominent issues raised and started making changes to make its criminal underworld more accessible to new players, without compromising what keeps veterans with years of Experience comes back for more. We’ve analyzed the details released so far, to provide this summary of the biggest changes with the GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update.
When is the update time for GTA Online for The Criminal Enterprises
Although no official GTA Online update time for The Criminal Enterprises has been announced by Rockstar, we can narrow down the release window based on previous information. GTA Online updates usually roll out around 1AM PDT/4AM EDT/9AM BST on Thursday morning, so we can expect a similar release time for GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises on July 26th. However, since this is a much larger update than usual there may be some downtime while applying it, and due to the increased traffic it will cause the GTA Online servers to run to begin with but any issues should be resolved quickly.
GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises Update on PS4 and Xbox One
Don’t worry if you haven’t upgraded to the latest console yet, the GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update will be available on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. The added content will be exclusive to next-gen consoles. New, although the only indication of this restriction so far is a new ride from GTA Online Hao’s Special Works.
The Oppressor Mk II is finally exploding
If you’re tired of other players constantly hunting you down with a flying Oppressor Mk II motorcycle, help is at hand with the GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update. Not only will the effectiveness of this vehicle’s guided missiles be reduced, but this bike will also have fewer countermeasures uses available with longer cooldowns in between. As a general improvement to reduce grief, players’ kill/death ratio will no longer be affected by kills in Freemode, and will only change by actions in competitive modes after the update.
Using shields and snacks in combat will be much easier
The big problem for many players was the time and effort required to apply new body armor or snacking to restore health, as it is often impractical to scroll through several menus to do so in the middle of a fierce battle. The GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update addresses this by adding several new quick actions when you raise your weapon wheel, so you can grab a snack or use shields on the fly without breaking your flow. There will also be an option to buy full ammo for all weapons through the interaction menu, and if you fail, a quick mission will restart, your snacks will be restocked to the level you started the mission at so you don’t run out.
One of the biggest additions with the GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update is the addition of new contacts missions, which allow you to become an IAA special field agent and investigate a criminal conspiracy over fake gas prices. This will start Operation Paper Trail, with a series of missions for one to four players as you consider the affairs of petrochemical magnates, The Duggans.
More new cars on the way
The Criminal Enterprises update promises that we’ll receive plenty of new GTA Online vehicles over the summer and beyond, including two Imani Tech-compatible vehicles for customization at the agency, as well as new Tuners and a ride from Hao that will be exclusive to the new generation of console players. You’ll need some extra space for all of these new cars, so it’s easy to increase the number of properties you can have from 8 to 10, which could provide up to 20 new garage slots for your cars.
Businesses can now be private
If you prefer doing business at your own pace or with friends, the GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises update will allow you to register as a VIP, CEO, or MC in Invite Only, Crew, and Friend sessions for the first time. This means that you can complete selling missions and any other activities without outside interference, but there are now increased rewards for players who continue to sell their merchandise in public sessions to reflect the additional risks.
Payments are increasing in all areas
If you are trying to learn how to make money quickly in GTA Online, the Criminal Enterprises update will help you with that thanks to increased payments across a wide range of activities. Races will pay 50% more GTA$ on average, while hostile styles will also receive an average of 50% more on payouts. Burglars will become more lucrative, with reduced setup fees and an additional 50%-75% on Heist Finale payments.
