It will appear when the time is right

A final goodbye to the “dead zone” when my expectations from nothing soon turn into expectations of something!

So we got this for us, which is nice.

Another note about Randy Duncan: He was highly regarded in football and basketball at his high school, Des Moines (Iowa) Roosevelt. In the latter sport, he was an all-state guard in 1954 and led his team to the state championship game. However, Duncan and Roosevelt lost that game to the Muscatine Little Musketeers. My dad was a Muskies music coach.

Looks like they weren’t “young” that day.

As a follow up to Monty from Hazen, ND, and Packers-Bears throughout, although it’s true that the Bears currently have another win, they also played another 34 games. The Hazmons also have the highest NFL win percentage ever.

Please answer in order of confidence Which of these do you think is most likely? a) Aaron Rodgers won MVP for the third time in a row, b) Derek won the next Eau Claire II MVP, C) Davante Adams earned more TD points than the Packers WRs combined, D) II meaningful team play-off reports have lasted longer from last year.

Have you guys ever followed previous packers who are now in the CFL? If not, I wanted to let you know that Jake Dolegala will start at Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday. Do you think Aaron might watch some plays? It should be a lot of fun as he makes his professional debut due to the Covid outbreak in the squad. Let’s get it Jake! GPG and Go Riders!

I admit I don’t follow the previous packers north of the border, but I will definitely be checking the score box on Monday morning.

I live about 16 miles from a Vikings training center. Would it be in bad taste if I wore the Packers gear to watch one of their training sessions?

I dare you to take a notebook or a tablet with you, and then hold your smartphone constantly as if you were videotaping everything.

Do you expect the Objective Unit/Exp Points to rebound to 90% with a low success rate this season? Of all the unknowns that will go into this season, this is the season where I don’t feel like what’s coming. Mason Crosby definitely has the stock/confidence — and he has a track record of rebounding after a subpar season — but if you look at the process when he missed last season, bad shots and bad suspension don’t stand out as a common denominator. Weak blocking was the most popular topic IMHO.

Protection was the biggest issue, but other areas were factors here and there as well. That’s why veterans like Crosby always talk about the whole process – pick up, hold, protect, kick. It has to be all in sync or nothing, the same goes for coverage and return teams. The Packers’ struggles over the past two years have called for opponents to investigate harder to exploit weaknesses. The beast feeds on itself and the packers must stop providing bait.

Every season has a game near the halfway mark (sorry for the Chicago airport reference) that sets the tone for the rest of the reason. The season appears to be on a fulcrum; Lose it and there is trouble, win it and there is confidence for the rest of the table. Last year’s fulcrum game was, in my opinion, @ARZ which obviously ended well with Douglas out of INT in the EZ. Which kick-off game are you interested in as a season-defining game? I love DAL @ GB and NE @ GB.

There is no way to contact her in advance. Has anyone seen that Arizona was undefeated in late October of last year? It will appear when the time is right.
