This recall includes 18-inch, 1500-watt oscillating ceramic tower heaters from WarmWave and Hunter, under license to the Sienhua Group (North America). The heaters are black with automatic shut-off and two heat settings. The model number HPQ15G-M can be found on the silver ETL label under the heater. Heaters are 18 inches long.


Consumers should immediately stop using heaters that have been pulled out, unplug the unit, and follow the online instructions at ( on how to properly disconnect the electrical cord to render the unit unusable, and contact your dealer, Sienhua Group (North America ), to receive a proportional refund.

Accidents / Injuries:

The company received eight customer reports of a plug or cord fire and dozens of customer reports of plug or cord overheating. There were no reports of injury or death and one report of minor property damage.
