What is a hot girl walking?
For a regular walk to be considered an exciting girl’s walk, it must meet the criteria. According to the creator of Fitness Trend, Mia (aka Tweet embed (Opens in a new tab) On TikTok), a hot girl walk lets you focus on just three things:
Sexy Girls Walk is all about celebrating your accomplishments and feeling proud of yourself—things not many of us are good at. The trend started as a four-mile walk, but distance isn’t the requirement here—it’s all about embracing the movement, and getting those good feelings out.

Tried a sexy girl walk – which is why you should too
As a dog owner, morning walks are a regular part of my routine. I’ll set my alarm for 6 a.m., sip coffee, and walk for an hour with Toby in tow. I often listen to podcasts, reflect on my day, and stress out the things I can’t control (like turning 30 in a few weeks). Hot girl walking didn’t require me to change much in my day—even before I had a dog, I would choose to start my day with a long walk or run, for the physical and mental health benefits. The hot walking girl just asked me to reshape my mind.
As my mind started drifting to my to-do list, I kept going back to ten things I was grateful for. Some of these seemed silly—my coffee, the sunny weather, the fact that I’d be testing running shoes for work, but others were bigger and more important. I’m not one for journaling or meditating – no matter how many times I try, it goes on for a week before I give up. However, there are a number of Benefits of practicing gratitude (Opens in a new tab)including increased life satisfaction, increased happiness, and a more positive mood.
Spending a mile thinking about five things I want to accomplish or achieve in my 30th year was also a great alternative to my usual walking daydream. Again, my mind seemed determined to wander (as did my dog, who has a habit of chasing pigeons), but I kept coming back to these dreams for the future as I walked.
Finally, like most Brits, I took the time to think about how awful I was a completely strange concept, and I admit I found it hard. Sure, I’ll try to be the person my dog thinks I feel, but I strut along thinking how attractive I am? Even writing this sentence is painful. However, the point of walking is to feel confident in yourself and move and celebrate your body. As I walked, I thought about how my legs had carried me around four marathons, how cute my nails were in a modern manicure look, and how happy I felt with the sun on my face. A therapist once told me “if you don’t say that to a friend, don’t say that to yourself” and starting the day with some positive affirmations about myself made me feel really great.
There are a number of benefits to walking outside (here’s what 30 minutes of walking a day can do for your body), but the true meaning of walking a hot girl is a mental exercise as much as it is physical. I was relieved that I ditched Toby’s introduction after an hour—I loved to start the day with a positive mindset, and instead of rushing to my desk feeling stressed, I poured myself another coffee and gave myself a mental pat on the back. No matter what your workout goals for 2022 are, the sexy girl outing is the trend everyone should try. what are you waiting for?
