Seahawks star DK Metcalf sends a powerful message to the Eagles


Seahawks’ DK Metcalf could become one of the most profitable receivers in the game.

DK Metcalf will forever be known to Philadelphia Eagles fans as the receiver who got away. The organization acknowledged Metcalfe in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Now he gets booed every time he steps foot in Lincoln’s financial field. It’s something he rubs the wrong way.

Metcalf revealed that Philly is his least favorite place to play during his recent appearance on Kevin Hart’s “Cold as Balls” YouTube show. The Philly-born actor was sitting in an ice basin opposite Metcalfe when the conversation took a turn…

“I hate going to Philly,” Metcalfe said.

“Oh my God that’s right,” Hart replied, adding, “Eagles [makes squawking noise]. ”

Before that, Hart asked Metcalfe about his experience on draft day and the All-Pro receiver expressed his disappointment at not being in the first round. However, eagles are not mentioned. “I thought I should have been in the first turn somewhere,” Metcalf said.

The Eagles actually passed Metcalf three times in that draft after picking Andre Dillard for 22nd, then took Miles Sanders for 53rd and JJ Arcega Whiteside 57th. The Seattle Seahawks ended up grabbing the Metcalf 64th. It’s 6 feet 4 feet tall and has 229 pestles that Philly pays for not formulated since then.

He has 13 catch points for 213 yards in two regular games, as well as seven receptions for 160 yards and a playoff touchdown in 2019. Metcalfe even rubbed it in the faces of the Philly faithful after owning Darius Sly in 2020.
