I have hundreds of fond memories of the times he spent with me as he taught me the best way to run this facility which has provided so much entertainment to so many millions of people. Proton has always been determined to keep fan interests high on our priority list. This is how he coined one of our company’s slogans, “We work for racing enthusiasts.” On behalf of all of us at LVMS, we extend our thanks to his sons Marcus, David and Scott, his daughter Anna Lisa, and all of his family and friends. – Chris Powell, president of Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
